SSC MTS Exam Pattern: Paper-I

The exam pattern for SSC MTS Paper-I has been revised as per the SSC MTS 2023 Notification. The paper is conducted online and consists of multiple-choice questions in the following sections: Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Aptitude, and General Awareness. The total number of questions in the paper is 90, with a total of 270 marks available.

The exam will be conducted in two sessions, namely Session-I and Session-II. It is mandatory for candidates to attempt both sessions, as not attempting any session will result in disqualification.

SSC MTS Paper-I Exam Pattern: Important Points

  • According to the latest pattern, the total number of marks is 270.
  • Paper-I will consist of objective type questions (Multiple Choice Questions).
  • The questions will be available in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages for Session-I and the General Awareness Section of Session-II.
  • In Session 2, there will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer, while no negative marking will be applicable in Session-1.
  • The visually handicapped cerebral palsy candidates will have a timing of 45 minutes for each session.

SSC MTS Havaldar PET & PST

Candidates who have applied for SSC Havaldar posts are required to participate in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET successfully clearing the SSC MTS Tier-1 Exam. The SSC MTS Notification specifies the following PET and PST standards for the Havaldar position in CBIC and CBN.2023.
